It is with deep pleasure that I write these few words to you and about you. Nelson Kumaranayake as I’ve known him is a far thinking lawyer with a deep sense of loyalty to his clients, along with an aptitude to grasp and understand any given case, so in order to assess what is required to be dissected and thereafter argued in any forum. I have known him from the day he came to apprentice in my chambers as a freshly passed out legal graduate - some over twenty years ago, and thereby have had the benefit of seeing him grow to be the leading Criminal Law Practitioner in Negombo and the surrounds.
